AFSC COMMUNITY CENTER

CAPE COD MALL

10 AM - 2 PM

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We invite you to come to the mall from 10 am to 2 pm any Thursday from now until May 18 to help us with one of only two fundraisers we do every year to raise funds for our free services. The walk was started by the Foley family under the guidance of Barbara-Anne Foley, whose father Dave Birtwell died of Alzheimer's disease. At this walk we honor our veterans, and all those who are living with cognitive loss in our community. Anyone who has come to one of our events knows that the emphasis is on being together, having fun, and making space for everyone who wants to join. Making friends with the AFSC is as simple as putting on a name tag. So mark your calendars and plan on joining us on Saturday, May 18, or come meet our outreach coordinator Jamie on a Thursday to help build the network of free services for individuals living with cognitive loss, their families and friends.

Please join us on May 18 and help make our community a more dementia-friendly place! You don't need to give to walk, and you don't need to walk to give!
