Nice enough people, but did one day on my job and came back the next morning and said "I'm not feeling the vibe here. You are too nit picky"
Sorry if i wanted my project done right. If you are saying I am too nit picky then I think that means you are not nit picky enough. Was told a process would be followed and when it wasn't, I questioned him. Hardly grounds to drop the job in my opinion. So now my entire kitchen is torn apart and I have nobody to do the job.
They did not charge me so I did not lose any money. I asked if I owed them anything for the days work they did and they said no. They said we are the first job in 20 years they walked off.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We are a small business whose livelihood depends on week to week work. We would never leave a week-long job without due cause, and have never done so in our 20 years of business. Why would we? We depend on this money to pay our bills. We took the hit instead of working with this customer. We have refinished one set of cabinets, week after week, and have done so for twenty years for happy clients as evidenced by hundreds of excellent reviews (see our website for these from the past 3 years). We are referred to our customers by realtors, interior designers, and other vendors because we are know for our professionalism and excellent work. When our meticulous refinishing process, refined over many years, is questioned and critiqued before we had even finished the prepping on the very first day - we knew - as evidenced by the emails we received that evening, that we would never make this customer happy. As a result, we cut our losses. This customer paid no money. We put in ten hours and also left him the paint we purchased, so we lost money. We left the kitchen in good shape on the first day, and returned the cabinet doors the next morning which were bubble wrapped and labeled. The night after the first day, the customer removed drawer fronts and appliances which could account for the kitchen being “torn apart”. We stand by our business ethics and professionalism. There are two sides to every story. By the way, the word “nit pick” is not part of my vocabulary.
